Architectural Glass Vice® Side-Fix Bracket System
The Architectural Glass Vice® is the refined, side-mounted version of the original Glass Vice® bracket, designed for projects where clean detailing, space efficiency, and architectural flexibility are essential. It is an ideal solution for stairwells, balconies, decks, and elevated platforms where fixing from the side is required or where maximising usable deck space is important.
The system is suitable for 12mm and 15mm toughened safety glass with an optional Nanorail top edge capping. For a true frameless aesthetic, it also supports laminated glass balustrades using 13.52mm or 15.52mm Sentry laminated toughened glass, eliminating the need for a top rail and delivering uninterrupted views—making it a popular choice for glass stair balustrades and architectural decks.
Architectural Glass Vice® brackets are manufactured from 316 marine-grade stainless steel and the higher-strength 2205 Duplex stainless steel, providing exceptional corrosion resistance in coastal and high-exposure environments. Finishes include mirror polish or brushed (satin), with the option of custom Dulux® powder-coated colours to suit both modern and traditional architectural styles.
